Truth be told, the credit or the blame will go to Patty.

More then once she has encouraged me to step out of my regular routine and find a new hobby. Along with brother Tom, she motivated me to play adult baseball this summer and I'm having a blast doing so. She was also there to support my desire to do something different which has led to my involvement with Meals on Wheels.

As some know, for the past several years Patty and I played softball with our Nashville friends. In the middle of it all, I found myself writing a blog to recap the teams adventures along the way. 'Apples Coed Softball.' For the most part, I've had fun writing and in fact, I added another blog to the family with the addition of the 'Nashville Knights Baseball' addition.

So here we are, it's time to take the next step and create a blog that will be entitled 'Write to Write'

My plan is to use this space and my free time to do just that i.e Write to Write. I'm not sure where this adventure will go or how long it will or won't last, but I am looking forward to risking it all and throwing out occasional stories as I feel comfortable in doing so.

My instinct is that the writing will be the easy part, it will be the topics to write about that I will perhaps struggle with. With that said, I'm not sure that I will even send out my customary email when I have a story on the blog. So, if you're of the mind, check back to this site from time to time and see if there is anything new.
